Brooklyn to the Hamptons
The Hampton Jitney picks up in three Brooklyn areas: Park Slope, Boerum Hill and Brooklyn Heights. The LIRR from Atlantic Terminal changes at Jamaica for most Hamptons trains.
Fares and schedules checked October 2026.
Brooklyn is the one borough where the Jitney has real pickups. The Jitney's stop directory lists 4th Avenue at 9th Street and 4th Avenue at Union Street in Park Slope, Atlantic Avenue and 4th Avenue in Boerum Hill, and Tillary Street and Cadman Plaza East in Brooklyn Heights, all served by the Montauk and North Fork lines. The posted timetable does not break out Brooklyn times, so the booking engine is where you see them. The Montauk Line fare is $43 prepaid; see the Jitney guide.
By LIRR
Atlantic Terminal is an LIRR station, and Jamaica is the starting point for most Montauk Branch trains. Take an LIRR train from Atlantic Terminal to Jamaica and change; the LIRR guide lists the trains and fares.
