About Hamptons Commute
Hamptons Commute is a guide to getting to and around the Hamptons, published by Liberty Design Studio. It is not affiliated with any operator, town or village.
How facts are checked
- Fares and schedules come from the operators' own sources, fetched directly and recorded with the date the operator says they take effect.
- The LIRR timetable is read from the MTA's published timetable data feed. The Jitney's timetable and fares are read from the Jitney's own schedule and fare tools. Ferry fares come from the ferry companies' pages.
- Each page lists its sources and the month they were checked: October 2026.
- Where an operator does not publish a number in a form we can read, we leave it out and say so. Blade seat prices and Hampton Luxury Liner stop addresses are examples.
- Drive distances and times come from OpenStreetMap routing with no traffic. They are labeled as such.
What we do not do
We do not sell tickets, take commissions from operators, or accept payment for placement in a comparison. Operators change schedules and fares, so each page asks you to confirm with the operator before you travel. Sponsored placements are labeled Sponsored, and advertisers do not edit pages.
