On the winter timetable the last Sunday LIRR from Montauk leaves at 7:55 PM and reaches Jamaica at 10:35 PM; the last Jitney leaves at 7:30 PM and reaches Midtown at 10:30 PM.

Planning notes

  • Check the date range on each Jitney trip: some Sunday trips on the current timetable are available only on set dates, such as Mondays through November 30.
  • A train that ends at Jamaica adds a change. Leave extra time if you have a connection or a dinner in Manhattan.
  • Regular LIRR trains have no reserved seats, so board early on busy days.
